Neil was born in Scotland and graduated from Edinburgh in 1983.He worked in dairy practice in the English lake district for five years before heading "down under" in 1990.He spent almost a year in Aussie before arriving in NZ in 1991 with Steph. Neil joined the Te Awamutu Veterinary centre and enjoyed the work and the "kiwi" farmers so much he decided to stay on permanently. Neil has now spent 17 years as a dairy cattle vet in Te Awamutu and enjoys working with a great team of vets and support staff.
Neil's interests include dairy reproduction, calf rearing, clinical work and practice management.
Neil recently completed a business management diploma through Waikato Uni.
Outside of work he enjoys road cycling, spending time with the family and following sports events. ( Neil & Steph have three busy off spring; David 15yrs, Michael 13 yrs and Rebecca 8 yrs.)
